At Clean People, our goal is to reduce single-use plastics from landfills and oceans one jug at a time while also aiding in efforts for reforestation by planting trees.

Trees are the earth’s lungs. Trees provide a habitat for animals, purify water sources, control flooding and erosion, and help replenish the soil with nutrients needed for farming.

For every 96 pack (or larger) of Laundry Detergent Sheets or Laundry Detergent Pods sold,
we plant 1 tree.

Did you know? Over 30 billion loads of laundry are done each year in North America which leads to about 900 million laundry jugs discarded annually in the United States alone.

Throwing away plastic also hurts the earth in other ways. As plastic decays, it can give off chemicals that seep into our water and air which can be harmful for people, plants, and animals. 

We’re proud partners with EDEN Reforestation Projects by employing local villagers and farmers to plant trees in Nepal, Haiti, Madagascar, Indonesia, Mozambique, Kenya, and Central America. For every 96 pack (or larger) of Laundry Detergent Sheets or Laundry Detergent Pods sold, we plant 1 tree.
